Angela Walters was our guest blogger last month, and it's great to feature some of her work in greater detail. Susan chose "Shape by Shape" volumes 1&2.
Here are a few pictures from the book, demonstrating the amazing quilting she teaches in these fantastic books.
For Blog, Susan chose to feature http://barbarabrackman.blogspot.ca/. Barbara Brackman is best known as a quilt historian. With several books on historical blocks and quilts, she is definitely the go-to person for dating your antique quilts and blocks. She is also a guest blogger at the Fat quarter shop's blog "the Jolly Jabber" every other Friday for "Flash Back Friday". So much information, you should absolutely check out her blog, it is a wealth of information and a glimpse into the past.
Lastly for Fabric, Susan brought in her wonderful collection of Cotton + Steel fabrics.
Susan loves that the fabrics are modern and rich, without being bright Jewel-toned. Here she is showing us her C+S borders, A perfect way to finish off some orphan blocks.
