PEI Modern Quilt Guild December 2020 Potluck

December is a busy time of year, to be sure!! As we settle in to celebrate the holidays with friends and family, it's important to make time to unwind. Members of the PEI Modern Quilt Guild were happy to unwind together for our annual end of year Potluck party, Hosted by our lovely President Heather.

We had lots of fun and fantastic food to share throughout the day. After a bit of chat to catch up on news, we held a draw for some excellent quilty prizes, including some samples of "Flatter by Soak"!!!!

Winners were Linda,

Liz,

and Helen!!

Next we drew the winner of the 3D flower Block Lotto blocks. Anna was the lucky winner of these 23 blocks!

Then after a bit of guild business, we had our Show & Share:

Here's Colleen showing her laptop bag made using leftover blocks.

Janice had 3 pieces that she was finishing up. This piece features Improv scrappy trees.

The next piece is destined to be a wall hanging. It has been drawn and painted by the talented Janice. Stunning!!

The next piece is also a work of art and would be wonderful as a wall hanging or pillow.

Helen has been working on a Block of The Month applique project. Shes's been doing a great job keeping up too!!

Velda is still enjoying the minis!! This first piece is destined for the "Make a Mini Friend" swap.

and the next is her November Mini "Eyeball". Does it follow you wherever you go? LOL.
