PEI Modern Quilt Guild November 2019 Sew-In

Several members of the PEI Modern Quilt Guild gathered for a fun filled day of sewing on a chilly November Saturday. It's always nice to spend some time among friends before the holidays are in full swing and the hustle and bustle of this festive time of year takes over.

Jean has a great start to her holiday gifting...These rope bowls are gorgeous!!

Linda has been making these lovely leaves with her batiks.

Leigh Anne is continuing her efforts with her "Bits & Pieces" postage stamp quilt.

Dianne managed to score big on a recent trip to Value Village.

And was having fun playing in the scrap bin.

Cathy shared her recently completed "New Wave" quilt top.

Visitor WenLi dropped in to work on her table runner from the community school course that Heather has been teaching.

Velda, Heather, Janice and the rest of the group put the final touches on the QuiltCon 2020 charity challenge. Fusing the tree down and we all got the chance to place some leaves.

It is really stunning!! Can't wait to see the quilting!!

We have a whole lot of goodness planned for the November meeting as well!! We announce the winners of our Van Gogh Viewer's Choice (It's not to late to vote!!), and we will be revealing the postcards from our exchange with the Moncton Modern Guild. Not to mention everyone's favourite: Show & Share!!
