PEIMQG April 2017 Sew-In

Spring is most definitely in the air, here in PEI. Although some of our members chose to spend this beautiful day outside or away, a small group of us got together for a relaxing day of sewing and catching up.

Heather J. brought a guest with her to the Sew-In, Sandy will be installing a mural in Montague this Spring/Summer and quilting will be featured. Sandy is not a quilter so she came to see what Quilty things we were up to and had lots of questions about different blocks and techniques.  Can't wait to see what Sandy comes up with.

Linda was having fun with her Patchwork City Blocks, Love the red and the Ladybugs are too cute!

Gail was working on this Crazy Quilt Christmas project. I really want to see what embroidery stitches she will add to finish this beauty.

She also brought her completed Quilt top, which is a gift for her son.

Dianne was busy laying out her CQA "Big Bee" Quilt, just needs to be basted and she can begin quilting it.

Here is the design she is quilting on it.

Roberta was just getting started with her "Metro Rings" quilt.

Cathy was working on binding her "Dancing Daisies" -drunkard's path quilt.

Jean and her Hubby stopped by for a visit and a chat too.

Hope to see you at our next meeting or Sew-In:
